Agathos has bolstered the team with three hires

Hugh Costello joins as an Investment Director; John Butterworth joins as an Investment Manager; and Tom Street joins as an Investment Executive. They will be working with founding partners William de Laszlo and Charles Oakshett on the deployment of Agathos Fund II.

Hugh joins Agathos from BGF, where he invested in UK SMEs in a range of sectors including automotive, manufacturing and consumer, and where he represented BGF as board director on a number of investments. John joins from Connection Capital, where he worked on UK SME buyout and growth capital investments, having previously spent seven years at KPMG. Tom joins from DC Advisory, where he advised SMEs across the North of England from the firm’s Manchester office.
