Karen joined Agathos in 2017 as Financial Controller, taking charge of all Agathos’ accounting requirements.

Karen has a passion for numbers and making everything come together and work smoothly. Her career in financial services has taken her all over the world, and she has worked in multiple sectors for tier one multinational firms.

Prior to joining Agathos, Karen was with leading global reinsurer Swiss Re as part of the asset management financial control function. Before that, Karen worked in Sydney with Macquarie Bank and in the Cayman Islands in PWC’s audit team.

Karen studied accounting and management at Cardiff university and became an ACA qualified accountant with Mazars.

Karen loves the family-friendly values of Agathos and working with people of integrity who are committed to what they do, and who work hard to achieve the best outcomes whilst maintaining an enjoyable environment.

Karen has travelled with a backpack to over 50 countries during which she has been skiing, scuba-diving, bungee-jumping, mountain climbing and skydiving, stayed with Indians in the Amazon, been to a rave in a Favela and travelled on top of a train in South America.
