Mark joined Agathos in 2018 for the opportunity to work closely with exciting, growing businesses. As a Senior Investment Manager, he is responsible for portfolio management, investor reporting and cross-fund initiatives including ESG.

His role at Agathos has seen him collaborate with portfolio management teams on areas ranging from strategic planning and budgeting through to raising finance and developing business reporting. He sits on the board of four businesses in the current Agathos portfolio and is committed to helping them realise their full potential. Mark was involved in the successful sale of Agathos’s majority stake in Cargostore in early 2020.

As a member of the Agathos ESG Committee, Mark is dedicated to creating value through responsible investment and making a positive impact on society and the environment.

Before joining Agathos, Mark worked in audit at KPMG before moving across to their restructuring advisory team. Mark is an ACA-qualified accountant and holds an MChem in Chemistry from Keble College, Oxford University.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys the increasingly rare round of golf and is waiting patiently for his son to join him on the course (he is only two years old, so it may be a while). He is also a supporter of Cricket Builds Hope, a fantastic charity that delivers positive social change in Rwanda through the power of sport.
