Agathos hosts its second AI Roundtable as the conversation shifts from experimentation to implementation

Agathos recently welcomed leaders from the businesses we partner with for our second AI Roundtable, bringing together management teams and AI leads to share practical experiences of implementing artificial intelligence across their organisations.

Building on the success of our inaugural event in November 2025, this latest roundtable reflected just how rapidly the AI landscape is evolving.

While governance, risk and understanding the opportunities of AI dominated discussions at our first session, this time the focus had clearly shifted. Across the businesses we partner with, AI is becoming firmly established as a board-level priority. The challenge is no longer whether to adopt AI, but how to move from promising pilots to meaningful adoption, measurable return on investment and scalable implementation.

Sharing practical experience

The morning began with Agathos presenting insights and benchmarks drawn from surveys conducted across the businesses we partner with in advance of the event. These highlighted encouraging progress over the past seven months, while also identifying common themes and challenges shared by many businesses.

The discussion then turned to one of the biggest questions facing organisations today: how to move AI initiatives from isolated experiments into core business processes that deliver lasting commercial value.

We were delighted to welcome Tom Stables of Lockstep AI, who facilitated an interactive working session exploring practical approaches to embedding AI within day-to-day operations. Rather than focusing on technology alone, discussions centred on leadership, change management, organisational adoption and creating measurable business outcomes.

Following a networking break, Adam Kantor of OneCollab explored the evolving cybersecurity landscape, highlighting how organisations can embrace AI responsibly while strengthening governance, resilience and security.

The value of collaboration

One of the defining features of the morning was the openness with which management teams shared their experiences.

Leaders discussed both successful implementations and the challenges they continue to face, creating a collaborative environment where businesses could learn from one another rather than tackling similar issues independently.

For Agathos, this collaborative approach forms an important part of our value creation strategy. By bringing together management teams from across our network, we aim to accelerate learning, share best practice and help businesses navigate emerging opportunities more effectively.

Looking ahead

Artificial intelligence continues to evolve at remarkable pace, and there is no single roadmap that every organisation can follow.

However, one conclusion from the discussion was clear: organisations that combine strong governance with practical implementation and a willingness to learn will be best placed to capture AI’s long-term potential.
