James Bakewell joins the Agathos team

Agathos is delighted to announce that James Bakewell has joined the team as Partner.

James has 15 years’ private equity experience as an investor and strategic growth specialist in service-oriented businesses across the UK. Prior to joining Agathos, James was a senior investor at mid-market private equity firm August Equity where he focused on investing in services businesses across Healthcare, Compliance, Business Services and Education sectors.

James will continue his focus on backing high quality management teams in fast growing businesses to build businesses of scale and value through organic and acquisition-based growth. James will also join the investment committee alongside partners William de Laszlo, Charles Oakshett, Katie Beck and Hugh Costello.
