Ben joined Agathos in 2024 as a Senior Investment Manager and is responsible for sourcing and executing new investments. He has a particular focus on IT Services, the Built Environment and Business Services sectors.

Ben has nine years’ experience investing in and advising UK SMEs. He thoroughly enjoys working with ambitious entrepreneurs, helping them accelerate growth through an ownership change or capital investment.

Previously an Investment Manager at YFM Private Equity, Ben made six primary investments and two follow-on investments into a range of management buyouts and growth capital transactions.

Prior to this, Ben worked at EY where he spent over four years in corporate finance advising privately owned and PE-backed healthcare businesses, whilst completing his charter accountancy qualifications.

Ben qualified with first class honours from the University of Leeds in Accounting and Finance, which he did alongside a part-time job analysing performance data for broadcasters and professional sports teams.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys all things sports, particularly rugby where he has an (almost) geeky level of fantasy rugby knowledge!
