Chanelle is an Investment Manager responsible for sourcing and executing transactions and providing strategic support to portfolio companies through board roles. Chanelle is energised by working alongside ambitious management teams to build high-quality, valuable businesses and she is particularly passionate about supporting companies with a strong underlying purpose and positive impact.

Chanelle has eight years’ experience investing in and advising businesses across the UK and New Zealand. Prior to joining Agathos in 2023, Chanelle was an investor at Pioneer Capital, one of New Zealand’s leading private equity firms, where she focused on deploying the firm’s fourth equity fund into high-growth, export-oriented businesses across the healthcare, technology and food & beverage sectors. Her role also included investing from Pioneer’s private debt fund into earlier-stage businesses and being a board observer to multiple portfolio companies. Earlier in her career, Chanelle worked at EY within the Transaction Services team providing financial due diligence services.

Chanelle holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington, majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2021.

Outside of work, Chanelle loves hacking the grass at a local golf course in the summer, skiing in the winter, and exploring the UK and Europe with friends all year round.
