Charles is responsible for establishing and maintaining structures to support the optimal performance of the business and the team. He oversees the company secretarial, IT, governance and compliance functions.

Charles’ career started in Cape Town where, after completing a BMus degree in Jazz Studies, he founded a business specialising in bespoke live music for events. He successfully grew the company over the course of four years before moving to the UK in 2004.

On arriving in London, Charles was employed in finance roles in the travel sector for several years before returning to music; first in production and tour management and then as a music agent –  booking and managing artists’ tours and shows at top venues and festivals across the country and internationally.

Charles joined Agathos early in its evolution, in 2016. After gaining insight into the knowledge, expertise and commitment Agathos is able to bring to support and manage the growth of its portfolio companies, and the extraordinary transformation this can lead to, Charles traded promoting the success of star performers to promoting the success of the team at Agathos. It is a team he says he loves – for its diversity of individual talents, skillsets, and abilities.
