Hugh joined Agathos in January 2021 and is a Partner and Investment Committee member. Hugh led Agathos’s investments into Simply Sustainable, Plowman Craven and Enfuse Group, and he sits on the boards of all three companies.

Hugh has been a private equity investor for 20 years, having started his career as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman in London and New York. He has held investment roles at CDC, Octopus Investments, Livingbridge and BGF, and has invested in and sat on the boards of companies across a variety of sectors. Hugh studied economics at university in St Andrews, California and Cambridge. He is a CFA charterholder.

Outside of work, Hugh is the proud father of two cats and two boys.
