Laura joined Agathos in 2023 as a Director in the Investment team, where she focuses on originating and investing in exciting growth businesses as well as supporting their management teams post investment to deliver and accelerate their growth.

What Laura enjoys most about her role is building collaborative relationships and working with diverse stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle to deliver the best outcomes for shareholders, while making the journey enjoyable for everyone involved and leaving a lasting impact on the businesses she supports.

With over 12 years’ experience in investing and advising, Laura previously spent six years with ECI Partners LLP, partnering with growth-oriented services and software businesses across several sectors including healthcare and life sciences, business services and tech whilst also leading ECI’s Healthcare and Life Sciences origination efforts.  Before ECI, she was at PwC for five years in Corporate Finance, advising privately owned and PE-backed businesses whilst also completing her CFA. She has a first class undergraduate degree in Land Economy and a masters in Management from the University of Cambridge.

Laura is also a founding member of Agathos’ ESG Committee supporting Agathos and its companies on their ESG goals, especially around DEI, an area in which she’s passionate about influencing change.

Outside the office, Laura enjoys all things sports-related particularly playing tennis, something she has done since the age of five competing nationally and internationally. She also enjoys watching nearly any sport going with friends and family, and in recent years enjoyed learning to play golf.
