Simon joined Agathos in 2016 and is Head of Investor Relations and Operations.

He is responsible for the firm’s investor relations activity, working closely with the Founding Partners, and oversees the operational foundations that support Agathos’s growth. As one of the longest-serving members of the team, Simon has worked across a broad range of functions over time and now focuses primarily on investor relations alongside firm-wide operational priorities.

Prior to joining Agathos, Simon was a Director at a diversified family office investment business in Northern Ireland. Simon began his career as a professional rugby player with Bath and Ulster and represented Scotland internationally, earning 32 caps and playing in two Rugby World Cups, most recently in New Zealand in 2011.

He holds a BA and MA in Philosophy from Trinity College, Oxford, and an MBA from Queen’s University Belfast.

He is energised by the values and collaborative, founder-first culture at Agathos, and by work that supports long-term, responsible growth. In his role, Simon is particularly focused on ensuring the firm has the right foundations in place to operate efficiently.

Outside the office, Simon is a proud father of three (four if you include the dog) and a keen fitness enthusiast. He has completed multiple long-distance charity cycle rides, including a 270-mile ride around Northern Ireland in 24 hours, in support of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Alongside fellow riders and with the support of the Agathos Amplify Impact Foundation, these efforts have collectively raised well in excess of £300,000.
