Vikoma have developed a unique vulcanised base for the floating recovered oil storage tank. This increases strength and is an unrivalled solution. Manufactured via a unique processes, a floating tank with a vulcanised base sets tank apart from the competition.

Vulcanising is a process where layers of our neoprene coated fabric and a solution are put through a heat press resulting in a high integrity seam with greater resistance to hydrocarbons and extreme temperatures than a cold glue process.
